Implementing SAFe, and achieving the benefits of Lean and Agile at enterprise scale is no small feat. However, the framework itself is evidence of the fact that it can be done, as it is, in itself, an outcome of the successful application of Lean and Agile principles applied to large scale development in a software enterprises worlwide. Simply put, we experimented, we struggled, (indeed, we failed once or twice), we succeeded far more times, and we documented what worked. (For more on this context, check out Contributors and Acknowledgments.) That is the genesis of this work.
The primary mission of the framework creators and contributors is to share “what worked” publicly so as to hopefully help individuals, teams, and enterprises achieve the enormous potential personal and business benefits that these innovative methods can help deliver. We feel that is a sufficiently worthy endeavor in itself. And while we are not overly concerned here with marketing or commercialization, (though those activities occur in different forums and via different entities), we thought it would be beneficial to share some of the success stories here, so as to provide some comfort that the journey ahead is achievable, as well as providing some tips and guidance of what to watch out for along the path. To this end, this page is dedicated to providing pointers to various case studies and results that others have achieved. We list a few here, in alphabetical order.
And, if you have a case study you’d like to contribute, we’d love to hear from you!
